The first concert takes us through perspectives of a newly discovered cultural world, which has been created and above all imagined in the works of different composers.
From the controversial fictional character “Golliwog” in Debussy, to Dvorak’s homage to the new continent.
Additionally, there will be references to the South of America in Milhaud, to American folk music in Kroll’s Banjo and fiddle and a miniature based on a theme conceived in New York by Jesús Reina.
Stephen Foster, known as the “father” of American music, will also be present in an evening which promises to fill the audience with the energy of these new sounding worlds.
